Never before have I been so bullish on intellectual property, legacy, and likeness. We’re on the precipice of something far greater than we’ve ever witnessed. We’ll cherish the days the majority of our thinking wasn’t outsourced, but crowdsourced by fellow man, and woman.

This isn’t a boomer hit piece on technology, but my interpretation of the direction we, civilization, are headed in.

If super intelligence were a wave, our generation, the milennial generation is at the front of it. People who are uniquely and strategically positioned to usher in the greatest technological advancement humanity has ever seen. Leaps and bounds. Exponential. All in the next few years. What’s the ceiling? What’s the floor?

And know this… The timestamps of your digital footprint, before AI? The videos, photos, and writing that came from you? That’ll serve as your authentication and verification. Your writing style has a scent. The way you speak, and structure your sentences, has a signature. One day these things we deemed trivial, will be valuable.

Your mistakes are going to be the only thing that differentiate you from the constant stream of perfection, coming from technology.

This book, however, isn’t about AI, SI, or nothing in the realm of it. This book is about analog frameworks to life. The ways to remain true to ourselves, and not to get lost in the process. Deeper thought. Confronting ourselves and asking deeper questions. The only thing that will save our minds, sanity, and ultimately our lives — is staying as close to the source of truth, every day, as we possibly can.

For me, that source is God. One blueprint. One set of rules that aren’t constantly changing, with arbitrary goal posts moving. That would be exhausting. A cause of burnout.

If “balance” is akin to walking a metaphorical tightrope, then submission is akin to finding stability.

Submission is not the weak thing we were taught to believe it is.

Submission is feeling the ground your very roots grew from. Understanding your heritage. Draw from the strength of your lineage. Draw from the strength of belief.

My roots hail back to Afghanistan. My parents left during the Soviet invasion. I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta.

I spent the majority of my adult life in the aviation industry, as an operations manager. Later, I took a leap of faith on starting my own marketing agency. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My work began to feel more meaningful, and I explored the agency I had as a young man, with talents that extended into civic politics, business, and now writing.

Writing came after seeing so much chaos, dissension, and hurt in the world. I wanted a way to give back, and help. I was once aimless. I want to share the ways I found my aim.

This book is meant for those who are lost in the tropes of society’s expectations, the smoke and mirrors of the beliefs thrust unto them.

Today, I live a more fearlessly led life. One that doesn’t depend on any man or woman, but one that is in total submission to God. I live for God, my family, and my loved ones. When I’m not writing, I work with my clients. Otherwise, I am pouring my legacy and the best of my heart into this book.
